The Artist Behind TheGlamBeast

Annya Weekes is a sought-after bridal and on-set makeup artist with over fifteen years of experience across beauty, fashion, and bridal. A licensed skin specialist and educator, she has built her reputation as an expert voice in both the art and the business of beauty.

Built on set. Annya's career was forged where there are no do-overs: backstage at New York Fashion Week, on national beauty campaigns, behind the lashes of a Grammy-winning artist, and on a Peacock production in partnership with Sephora. On set, the lighting is unforgiving and the makeup has to be flawless on camera the first time — a standard she brings to every face she touches.

Skin first, always. With over 1,000 individual skin consultations behind her, Annya reads skin before she ever reaches for foundation — how it will photograph, how it will hold through tears, heat, and twelve hours of celebration. Her philosophy: great makeup doesn't sit on the skin. It becomes part of it.

Why brides. A wedding morning is the highest-stakes set there is — one take, real emotions, no reshoots. Annya brings her editorial precision to brides through The Glam Beast Experience: a planned, previewed, zero-surprises approach that lets every bride feel like the calmest person in the room.

Educating the next generation. Annya curates industry-leading education for working makeup artists, and her forthcoming book, The Makeup Assist, is the definitive professional guide for makeup assistants navigating the industry she came up in — the book she wishes someone had handed her at the start.
